Want to learn how to fish? Want to go fishing land based but don't have any gear? On holiday in Adelaide and don't have your fishing gear with you?Like fishing but get sea sick?
Then I can help. I offer a Land based gear rental service at a few well known ,easily accessible locations in metro Adelaide

   *Land based Gear Rental Service*
I will meet you at one of a few well known,easy to fish locations in metro Adelaide and provide you with the gear and bait that you require. I will stay with you as your own personal
fishing guide and can help you with baiting , casting , use of the equipment and give you fishing tips based on over 40 years of fishing experience.

I can set you up to fish for the following species:
a) Gar and Tommies (Australian Herring)
b) King George Whiting & Red Mullet
c) Squid
d) Snook
e) Mullet and Yellowfin Whiting
f) Salmon trout and Bream

I can advise you as to what species you are most likely to encounter there at any given time. I will meet you there and I will be fishing at the same time so I will be able to give you some pointers.

* PRICING*
As of February 2017 the pricing policy is as follows:
a) There is a minimum fee of $90 per hour.

b) This will give you up to 3 rods for use including bait (if you
   wish to target King George Whiting the price goes up to
   $100 per hour). For this flat price up to 3 people can fish.

c) For each additional rod / person there is an extra charge of
    $30 per hour (or $33 for King George Whiting)

d) A fully refundable rental damage / loss deposit of $300 is
   required for 3 rods , for 4 rods it will be $400 etc.

e) The minimum rental period is 2 hours (eg . $180 for 3 rod
   package or $240 for 4 rod package excluding any add on
   costs)

I can set you up for lure fishing for many different species but any lures or squid jigs lost must be paid for at a cost of $25 per lure or jig.

All people using the service must bring a valid driver's license or photo ID (such as a passport) with them on the day or else the gear will not be hired out.

Please contact me for the availability of this service as it depends a lot on weather conditions .I will advise you as to what days look good and as to what time of day would most probably be best for your target species.

* Fishing Theory Lessons*
I teach fishing theory lessons at my home which include
* Rod ,Reel, line and tackle selection
* Knot and rig tying
* Local knowledge regarding various species and how / when to catch them (ie time of year ,bait or lure selection etc)
These classes are $80 / hr with 2 hours usually enough to cover the basics.
For this price up to 4 people can attend (ie $20 /hr per person)

As you can understand,there is no guarantee of catching fish but I will do everything I can to help you succeed. Children under 18 years old may use the gear but only under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. Any loss of ,or damage to, the gear resulting from the use of a minor will be paid for by the parent or legal guardian. Clients are liable for any costs regarding any damage to,or loss of,fishing gear through the use of ( or mis-use of) the fishing gear. By booking this rental service you are agreeing to the above terms and to those set out in the rental agreement signed prior to the use of the rental service on the day.
